Beacon Stevedoring Corporation, a non-union specialist in discharging and loading bulk and break-bulk cargoes, handles over 130 vessels per year at Rukert Terminals' facilities.

Beacon Stevedoring, in conjunction with Rukert's Rapid Discharge PECO Crane at Pier 5, can unload alloys and other heavy ores at a rate of 200-300 tons per hour. The discharge of salt, fertilizers, magnesite and other medium weight ores averages 400-500 tons per hour.

At Lazaretto "A" berth, the stevedoring of general cargoes and small bulk parcels is handled with ship's gear, Rukert's new Model 9320 American Crawler Crane or Rukert's new Model 210 American Hydraulic Crawler Crane.
